Many brides are choosing historic mansions or outdoor gardens for their wedding versus a large hotel with numerous banquet rooms. Brides want to feel special on their wedding day and don't want to be one of four weddings going on at a hotel, country club or banquet facility. It make take a bit more searching and effort, but finding the perfect private wedding location will be a memorable treat to you, your family and all your guests!

It is important that you find a space that is truly for you and your FI. It will make the day even better if you are in a place that you both feel comfortable in.
I can't emphasize enough how wonderful it was to have the event spaces to ourselves! The whole day felt so exclusive and special for me and my guests. We had our reception at the Sacramento Grand Ballroom and they didn't have any events in the days prior. They actually started set up on Wed, which turned out to be a lifesaver, bc the vendor sent the wrong table linens and chair covers and we were able to get it figured out in time for the bid day bc the venue had provided for early set up. If we had sceduled delivery for morning of, like many venues require, I would have been a very, very sad bride with AWEFUL table linens!
