Tip - Know Your Limit

Your wedding day is a BIG day! And if you are easily rattled, you could wake up in knots. That third mimosa or glass of Chardonnay may sound like a great idea but just be careful. You don't want to be the bride wobbling at the altar or falling asleep. Drink one glass of water in between each alcoholic drink to keep yourself hydrated and walking a straight line!

This is such great advice...and remember...high levels of stress (which most of us brides encounter on our special day, lack of sleep, lack of food, etc...can lead to an abnormal (for you) response to alchol...so take it easy!

What an important tip! It is easy to get carried away in all the excitement.

I knew in advance that we'd be drinking quite a bit on wedding day (7-8 glasses with dinner), so I hit the Pellagrino instead as I was getting ready. Tawnia at Sequoia Restaurant(where I got ready) had a lovely bottle of champaign all ready and waiting, but the equally bubbly water was just the thing.

Of course my guy sent me up a Cosmo as I was getting ready, but he made sure it was a Cosmo-lite... light on the vodka. How thoughtful!

Of couse all the alcahol rationing went out the window when we got to the reception and were told that all married couples had to do a shot of tequilla (aka: to KILL ya!) before entering the reception hall. Yikes... no wonder we were a bit hung over the next day. :)

(Tip: Ask your waiter to keep your water glass full!)
