Trend - Hors D' Oeuvres vs. Buffet

Forget the tradition of sit down, wait to be dismissed and stand in a buffet line. Have different food stations with heavy hors d’ Oeuvres and light entrées.

Allow your guests to move and mingle while eating continuously. Offer a few low tables for the older generation and bridal party, but scatter cocktail tables throughout, it gives the feeling of movement and is very modern.

Anonymous said...: We had our reception at The Sequoia Restaurant in Placerville. I can't even begin to tell you how well we were taken care of! Dave Bagley and Tawnia Ceo were both wonderful! Again, it was all athe little things. We got to the reception at the end of the cocktail hour and as soon as we were introduced and seated we were brought plates of appetizers. How delightful!!!

We had planned a seated dinner with passed appetizers, but we'd also designated a couple of friends to save some for us, but we didn't even have to worry about it!
