Trend - Destination...Only a Vineyard Away

Wineries are the hot spot venues right now. Wine is definitely in and what better place to marry, than a winery. Wineries are typically away from the city so you can get the feel of a destination wedding without the expense of long travel. Some wineries even have a French or Italian theme which can help create a feel as though you are far away from home when really you are only a car ride away.

If we had opted to have a smaller, less inclusive wedding I would have loved to say I do at a local winery! The ambience is so lovely...and who doesn't love wine?!

We LOVE wine! We would have loved to have our wedding at a local winery! If only we would have thought of it. . .

As the new kid on the block... WE DID! And we loved it! Typically winters are a slower time at wineries, but we found it to be quiet and personal. The vines are sleeping, so no leafy branches, but still lovely. For a local recommendation I'd highly recommend htttp://www.DavidGirardVineyards.com in Placerville, but there are lots of wonderful options very close to Sacramento.
