Another great idea, particularly for outdoor weddings, is to uplight the trees around the area. It really can help create a romantic mood in addition to adding light as the sun goes down.
I love lighting in trees or other outdoor decor...it looks amazing in the night light! We had paper lanterns and other small lights woven into the trees surrounding our outdoor reception site...we loved the ambience of the lighting.
