What has been the most challenging issue as a newlywed (combining money, living together, etc.)?

Since we had been living together for more than a year before we were married, our wedding was more a celebration of our love and commitment to one another than a new beginning. However, in the first year of living together, our most difficult task we encountered was sharing space. It is important to allow an adjustment period for both people to get used to the new situation.
