Tip - Bridal Party Bests

When selecting bridal party gifts, keep in consideration that your maid of honor and best man (traditionally) assumed more responsibility than the rest of your bridal party. Maybe select a gift for each of them that is different from what you get for everyone else or maybe just something a little extra.Check out our Wishpot for gift ideas!Photo courtesy of The Memory Journalists

Tip - Choose A Bathroom Buddy

As silly as it may sound, be sure to enlist a friend in your bridal party that feels comfortable accompanying and holding your gown in the ladies room. In most cases, there's way too much dress there for you to take on at such a crucial time.Photo courtesy of The Memory Journalists

Tip - Men, Take Note

Guys, notice if your groomsmen have any piercing or tattoos that you prefer not to have visible on your wedding day. Be sure to discuss this with them when you ask them to be a part of your wedding. They won't appreciate it being sprung on them the day of.

Ready for any Emergency

I think we all pretty much know that you have to be ready for anything. I mean who knows what could happen on your big day? Good or bad. We have all seen those wedding stories involving everything from fainting brides to disappearing vendors. So in an effort to be ahead of the game I had my bridesmaids help me put together a "Bridal Emergency Kit."
Picture provided by mindyweiss.com

There are actually quite a few pre-made Bridal ER kits out there. You can find them here, here and even here at Target. What I did was read a great article I found at the Knot, divided up their suggestions amongst my bridesmaids and had everybody bring their stuff to the house the day of the wedding. I supplied the bag and we dumped it all in and I gave it to my maid of honor to bring to the church. It actually worked out great because we ended up needing those tissue's and hairspray! The key is to remember you aren't just providing this stuff for yourself. Make sure you have enough stuff for all your bridesmaids and mom's and anyone else you know will be hanging out with the bride.

Trend - Makeup Bridal Gifts

Not sure what to get your bridesmaids for being in your wedding? How about a fun gift bag of makeup? You could set it up as a makeup buffet if you really want to make it different. Choose a few different nail polishes, lip glosses, shadows, bronzers, lipsticks and small perfume bottles. Grab a couple extra to make sure one girl doesn't get stuck with the leftovers. Put them in different containers by product type and let them create their own gift! You can do this reasonably inexpensively by picking out gift packs that offer different shades and crack them open. A few shops with reasonably priced makeup: MAC, Sephora, ULTA, BareMinerals.
