Try a different twist on wedding favors. Ask your floral designer or local nursery to check into 2” plants to use as favors. Depending on the season, a variety of green and blooming plants may be available. Try planting them in to containers that match your theme. For example, for a garden wedding use mini roses in clay pots or succulents in a glass cube for a more modern feel.
Consider using a combination of low and tall centerpieces. The high and low variations can be on separate tables or clustered on one long table. Brides are moving away from using the traditional low centerpiece and mixing it up by adding large dramatic arrangements high above the table.

To help stay within a budget consider using flowers that are seasonal, rather than imports. You can also ask your designer about renting vases and containers. This will help give you the look you want by allowing you to use better containers at a much lower price than if you were to buy them.
Floral designers have come up with many creative ways to conceal stems. Vases are filled or even covered with a many different things from branches and leaves to ribbon or even pearls. This is especially popular with tall arrangements, but is done on all levels. The possibilities are as endless as your designer’s creativity.
