Tip - Groomsmen Fitting

Groomsmen, be sure to check your suit/tux before the day of the wedding. Be sure it fits properly, that all items are there and that it's pressed properly. You don't want to be standing out as the guy with a mismatched tie or overly wrinkled suit. Your responsibilities don't end with the bachelor party.Photo provided by Allison Stahl Photography

Trend - Best Man Or Best Gal

This is your day and it’s important to have your best friend by your side. There is no need to put the groom’s female friends with the bridesmaids when she can be a “groomsgal” or a “Best Gal”.

Trend - Floral Continuity

Adding flowers to your flower girls hair, using the same florals that are in your bridesmaids bouquets will add some cohesiveness to their look and add a touch of elegance to their young appearance.

Tip - Let Loose (...A Little)

When doing posed pics for your wedding, be sure to get a few that showcase the wedding party's playfulness. You want everyone's personalities to show through and not have all images completely staged.Photo provided Profinish Design

Tip - Talk To Your Groomsmen

Grooms, make sure to talk to your groomsmen about what's expected from them on the day of your wedding. If you have a pal that things 2 day stubble is sexy and you don't, don't be shy..tell him! If your best man thinks the trip to Cancun story when you both got arrested makes for great public humor, stop him. Don't feel bad; who knows what he'll ask of you on his wedding day.Picture provided by Profinish Design

Tip - Bridesmaid Bags

A cute coordinating purse makes for a great, handy gift for your bridesmaids. They can stow away their wedding day necessities in style. You could fill it with a few potential wedding day bridesmaid needs, like bandaids, chapstick, travel sunblock, etc.

Tip - Ask Timely

Don't wait to ask your wedding party in person if you're having a hard time coordinating schedules. This is a tip that I learned most recently. I wanted to ask each of my bridesmaids in person to be a part of the wedding party because I felt it was an intimate thing that isn't appropriate to do over the phone. Well, sometimes busy lives don't always allow for face time and you don't want one friend hearing from another that they were invited to participate in the wedding weeks ago. If you can't get some face time, send an invitation to participate in the wedding with a personal note. This can still have the same thoughtful intimacy!

When organizing the head table, be sure to include your wedding party's significant others. It will make them more comfortable being at the wedding and your wedding party will appreciate sharing the special moment with their significant other.
