Dynamite Weddings - Successful Launch!

On March 11th, we celebrated the Launch of Dynamite Weddings! Yeah! What an awesome event if I do say so myself. The Launch Party had a number of amazing vendors contribute to the evening. Events at Quarry Ponds hosted the event at TOAST Restaurant in Granite Bay, with Luxury Limousines providing transportation for our Dynamite Vendors. The vendors riding in the limos were able to start off the evening with a little bubbly. Upon arrival to the restaurant, our signature drinks were a huge hit!Once arriving at the Launch we had some Dynamite signature drinks, amazing cuisine hosted by Events at Quarry Ponds, awesome jams provided by MR DJ Service and the always popular, always rockin' photo booth provided by Profinish Design. Phill Sheffield of Sheffield Multimedia captured the event on video, which will prove to be entertaining, with all the characters involved. The high top tables and all the linens were provided by Celebrations! Elegant Party Rentals which were beautifully complimented by centerpieces provided by Flourish, Blooms by Martha Andrews, Visual Impact Design and Lilygrass.Jennifer and Nicole stole a few moments to introduce the Dynamite Weddings website and features after a welcoming intro by Doug LaVine with Music on the Move. Lora Ward, of A Day to Remember, a local fave offered a brief testimonial why she has decided to become a Dynamite Vendor.Everyone got to end the night with a take-out container of their favorite candies hosted by Dynamite Weddings and arranged by Pfeiffer Event Planning and A Day to Remember. The assortment of candy was amazing and was an absolute eye catcher! Mmm....Thanks to all the Dynamite Vendors that contributed, attended and rocked the house! It was an awesome opportunity for Dynamite Weddings and Dynamite Vendors to share the experience with local industry professionals. Thanks to all!! Let's do it again soon!!All photographs provided by our own Dynamite photographer Sarah Whitehead of Sarah Maren Photography. More photos soon to come from Profinish Design.

Party Party Party

It was our first annual (post holiday season) Memory Journalists celebration party, and we timed it just right to be on the day that Dynamite Weddings launched! How's that for keeping on track to a schedule. :-) Everyone was able to come to our home, minus one new addition to the B2B Girls (soon to introduce the Fuse). We loved having everyone over to celebrate their hard work and our joint efforts in a successful year.

The Memory Journalists team: Cory being enjoyed being in the middle of all us girls. From left to right - front row - Tammy, Teresa, Cory, me, Tina, and Nik. Back row - Kerry, Kelly, and Trina. Missing from the photo is NJ. Photo courtesy of The Firecracker.

The Dynamite Weddings girls: From left to right - front row - the Flare (Amanda), The Flame (Kirsten), me, The Firecracker (Bree), Sparky (Kate), and NJ (Nicole) in the back. Missing from the photo is the Blaze (Nicole) and the Fuse (Alyssa).

The color scheme was in honor of the Dynamite Weddings colors - hot pink, lime green, and turquoise. The candles, the drinks, the flowers, and everyone's attire matched our colors. Teresa even dolled up her toe nails to match her shirt and wore pink flowers in her hair.Cory served up drinks faster than he could make them. What do you expect with 13 girls. I won't even say how many bottles of vodka we went through! Dessert was provided by a friend of Teresa's - hmmm yummmmy - we all loved those "sweaty balls!" Yes, they are called Sweaty Balls. This is my BFF (best friend forever and my MOH at my wedding) Kerry and her BFF Tammy, which through transitive rules kind of makes Tammy my BFF, right?I had to shoot this image of our version of the best lookin' Charlie's Angels - all three 6' blondes. Kerry, Kelly, and Trina. We enjoyed catering from 4th Street Bar and Grille - the stuffed mushrooms were a hit. I added Cheetos to the list myself (see the big bowl in front - everyone loved eating them!) And party rentals were from a Dynamite Vendor - Celebrations.I snuck away to snap this picture of the mounds of purses and coats on the bed. I thought about accidentally taking my new favorite purse. whoops...Before the night got too far away, I gave a little speech (Cory snapping away with the camera) and presented all our girls with a little gift. (Alyssa yours is wrapped and waiting!) I hope we all can share in what we read amongst each other! I look forward to growing and sharing with each of you.Thank you to Matt who came prepared to only stay a short while, as it was a date night with his beautiful wife, but ended up staying until the wee hours with all us girls! Cory loved the male company!
