Trend - Light My Fire

Not just for smoking....the traditional matchbook is a fun, creative way to carry on the monogram theme in your wedding. Matchbooks are hard to find these days so guests like to pick them up. They're a great keepsake!Trend provided by Pfeiffer Event Planning

Trend - Fan Fare

We've mentioned the personal trend of adding your program to fans and leaving it for guests in their seat. Finding a traditional fan with a fitting design and adding your names and date to the side can be just as great of a gift. These fans can be used over again by guests at other outdoor events or in a sweltering meeting room, where everyone is jealous of their handy little item. :0)

Trend - Program Fans

A folding fan can make a great accessory for your wedding day guests. It can help shield them from sun or wind. Some crafty couples have their wedding program printed on flat fans and this doubles as a keepsake. You can also tie a small wedding program off the end of the fan for guests instead of printing on the fans. Photo provided by Sharpe Photographers

Trend - Sweet Succulents

Consider a collection of individually potted succulents as a centerpiece. These can also double as guest favors that can be taken home and planted in their own yard. This will save you the trouble of clearing the tables at the end of the night and will save on tons of materials being wasted.

Tip - Flower Seating Cards

Why let a love for flowers stop at simple centerpiece arrangements? Have guests pick up their seating card tied to a lovely single bloom that they can place in their bud vase favor, marking their seat.

Tip - Tickle Your Senses

We love these reasonably priced, delightfully wrapped favors that tickle the sense of sound from Martha Stewart. "At a wedding, our senses absorb the details of the day. These favors celebrate the sense of sound. Place a shell in a mesh bag, and your guests will hear the call of the ocean. Silver chimes slip into an aluminum canister trimmed with scallop-edge Ultrasuede and a double-face satin ribbon. A CD of love songs is placed in a cardboard sleeve, wrapped in rice paper, and tied with a woven ribbon. A kazoo in a glassine bag is topped with a folded piece of patterned paper and secured with a brass staple."

Trend - Dip Away

A great wedding favor is some local olive oil paired with bread dipping herbs for your guests to take home and enjoy.
