Candles are guaranteed to set the mood of romance for your big day. Candles are an inexpensive, versatile decor detail that can come in big and small but always pack the wow factor punch! They can be hung from ceilings, walls and pews. They can be on stands, in centerpieces, set on the table, floating on water, in aisle ways, lining exits. Their uses are endless, their beauty classic!
Check out moo.com for some creative ways to personalize your wedding! You can create text mini cards with inspirational sayings and lay them at each place setting or maybe create an assortment of conversation starters placed in a vase at each table. The dimensions are 28 x 70 mm and each card can have a different saying (up to 100). You could also use mini photo cards to make each escort card different for guests as they arrive at the reception.
To acknowledge the long lasting marriages in both your families, think about a photo tree that could be at the escort card table for all to admire. You could add an ornament sharing each couples wedding day photo.
Snooping around two of our favorite favor sites today we came across some unique Fall favors that we sure wouldn't mind receiving and thought we would share them with you.
Some brides and grooms scoff at the idea of an early morning wedding because the tradition tends to lean towards late afternoon to early evening. Having your wedding in the morning hours can help save money at some venues who offer a price discount since this is not peak wedding hour. You could have fun with a morning time wedding offering a twist on the traditional reception menu. You could have a cappuccino station at the reception accompanying a light brunch meal with omelette stations, mini pancakes, lox with mini bagels, Bloody Marys and mimosas.
Provide bells for your guests to ring during the recessional or as the bride and groom exit the reception. This offers a no mess alternative to petals, bird seed, sparklers, rice, etc. They are also fun to ring at the reception signaling a kiss for the bride and groom. Some favor companies may be able to add your initials and wedding date to personalize this melodious favor.
If you plan to have your reception outdoors or indoors with excessive lighting, make sure that your cake is not overexposed to light (natural or not) for too long prior to cutting or your final hour photos and presentation could be of melting tiers. This concern also applies if you have fresh flowers adorning your cake. 
Browsing current trends we came across Darcy Miller's wedding, from Martha Stewart. She had a great idea that she implemented at her wedding. In large glass vases on the bar were slips of well designed, calligraphy notes - "cootie catchers" - which included "dares" such as "kiss the bride" or conversation starters like "introduce yourself to someone new".
Looking for another idea than the blessing tree or well wishes frame? What about magnetic wishes that you can put on your fridge or magnet reminder board in your office? Buy writable magnets in your wedding day colors, with a large area for guests to write individual wishes. Leave a calligraphy pen out for well wishers to leave you their best. Magnetic wishes are great because you can place them around your home and office as constant reminders of your fantastic wedding day, amazing partner and thoughtful friends and family!

Be sure to try on all undergarments with your wedding gown. This also applies if you're planning to change into a different dress for the ceremony. Dresses with exposed back are in, but you need to be sure that you have the proper bra or corset for that dress. You also want to make sure that you don't have panty lines if your dress hugs. Don't be caught sharing more than you'd like!
Many couples are opting for butterfly release at the end of their ceremony or to signify the closing of their reception. Butterflies are not only beautiful, but orange monarch butterflies are also pollinators that contribute to plant life. The raising of butterflies (on most farms) is an eco-friendly process that leaves no carbon footprint.
If you're planning to start a new health regime prior to your wedding that includes taking new vitamins, don't start it the week of your wedding day. Start at least a month in advance or after your big day. Some people get nauseous starting new vitamins as your body adjusts to the influx of these additional nutrients. No one wants to feel sick on their wedding day, with the exception of a few expectant butterflies that will pass!
Have (or ask your Maid of Honor to have) a nice hanger for dress pictures before the ceremony. It makes your pictures more attractive than the plastic hangers the bridal salons usually send you home with. Maid of Honor: These little touches are what makes you the hero of the day!
