Engagement is not that fun. It is emotionally draining and stressful. There is anxiety in realizing you are about to cement a new future, excitement you are starting a new chapter in your life, stress over money, often family conflict and pressures and planning a wedding is time consuming. If you go into knowing that the end goal is to have a family that is happy, a bride and groom that are happy, and a joyous day to celebrate your love and union, it will help keep things in perspective when times get rough
