I'm sure that many of you have heard this story recently, but I had to share. Kelly Gray, a bride-to-be in Virginia decided to auction off a position to be a bridesmaid in her 2009 wedding on eBay.

Her plans weren't anything extravagant, but were proving to be too much for their combined annual salary of $32,000. She was spinning her wheels to come up with a way to raise money for her and fiance Karl's wedding day, when a friend suggested eBay. People have bid on some unique auctions on the site, why not a bridal position? The story received countrywide media attention and the winner is... the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group! That's right! They have decided to sponsor the wedding and will pick the bridesmaid or bridesman that will represent them.
