Tip - Addressing Adults Only
Many say that it's not appropriate to say Adults Only on an invitation. If you agree, than you should address the invitation to Mr. & Mrs. only and not The Johnsons, this should help clarify the adults only message. Although, you may still get or need to make a few phone calls or emails verifying this is what you meant.

To further designate exactly who is invited from a household you may want to include the following on your reply card: There are _____ (number) seats reserved in your honor. You fill in the number before mailing out your invitations. So that if there are four members to a household, two adults and two children - you're reaffirming the 2 adults listed on the outside envelope by stating: There are 2 seats reserved in your honor.
