Don't send Uncle Mark and Aunt Trish to dreary table 3, send them to the Bonnie & Clyde or Lucy & Desi table. What about placing a fun fact about their table's couple on the back of each escort card? Friends of ours had table "numbers" that were related in some way to the people occupying each table. It was a lot of fun, and got people chatting during lulls in the nuptial action. I definitely recommend going this route to brides and grooms looking to do something different.
