Tip - Visit The Bride's List

The Bride's List is a comprehensive site listing wedding treasures for search or for sale. The site was started by two sisters who know how difficult it is to get everything you need for your wedding and stay within your budget. The ladies are closing down the site in mid June, so be sure to get your wedding treasures now. Also, the domain name is for sale, if you're interested.

Trend - Origami Flowers

Origami flowers are a fantastic DIY project that we found over at Style Me Pretty, where a bride took on this creative, detail oriented task. DIY flowers are a huge, fun trend right now that really showcase the hard work that a bride and her pals put into the wedding.

Tip - Share The Moment

Find out both your parents first dance songs and ask the DJ to create a song sharing the two to create your first dance. You could also ask the DJ to play a song that the two of you share and then invite your parents onto the dance floor to share their first dance, again.

Tip - Great Guest Book

Signature guest books don't really have a place intermixed with your home decor. Consider ordering a coffee table book that relates to your interests as a couple and guests could sign it throughout or add funny captions to pictures.

Potential Bridesmaid Dress!

Well...the bridesmaid dress I ordered from Nordstrom arrived today!!! I have been patiently (ok...well, impatiently) waiting for it to arrive since I ordered it and greeted the UPS driver at the door. :)

It's a silk chiffon halter in the perfect color...Pool Party!! My new favorite shade of blue you ask?? That's right. Pool Party!Where are all my BMs when I need them?! j/k. Although, I really wish that one of them was available to come try this on. I tried it on, but they are all a little more enhanced below the declote than I am and it would look much better on them. If I don't see one of them by tomorrow morning, I may have to stalk one of them to try it on. :)

I ordered it big so my pal, who will be 8 months prego by then, can try it on with the fake belly! That will be the true dress test. If I'm this excited about a potential bridesmaid dress coming in the mail, imagine what I'll be like when my wedding dress comes in! I already said today that I may have to keep it at a bridesmaid's house so I don't try it on too much or show Mr. D. OOHHHH....and I found out today that it will be here in a few short weeks!! Good thing I'm training tomorrow. Better go have my glass of wine now. Don't tell my trainer. :P

Trend - Floral Potluck

If you're throwing your BFF's bridal shower, find an assortment of different flowers (tulips, gerbera daisies, stargazer lilies, roses) and place them all together in lovely containers and large vases. At the end of the shower, you can have tissue paper and cellophane laid out with ribbon and cutting shears. They can each create a fun DIY arrangement to take home as their favor!Photo provided by The Memory Journalists

Tip - All Together Now

If possible, get your entire wedding party and guests together for a group photo! Letting your photographer know in advance will allow them to find a way (possibly bring a ladder) to get this fun group shot, if there's not already a balcony, staircase or dangerous ledge available. :)
