Trend - Signature Plate

Consider a signature plate in lieu of a traditional guest book. All your guests can leave their well wishes on a fun signature plate that you can display in your kitchen.

Trend - Cozy Caramel

I found this fantastic tasty treat on Martha Stewart Weddings and think it looks delicious! I just had to share:

"Just as the coffee is being served, the dancing always seems to begin in earnest, leaving guests with cold coffee when they return to the table. At your reception, offer caramel wafers to rest across the top of the cup -- the coffee will stay warm and the caramel will soften, turning the wafer into a sweet gooey treat. To prevent premature nibbling, the wait staff should let guests know what the wafers are for when they first bring out the coffee."

Tip - Know Your Power Sources

When deciding on a venue and planning your ceremony and reception for inside or out, be sure to find out where all the power sources are and the limitations on each. You may need this information for your band, lighting, speakers, etc.Photo provided by Allison Stahl Photography

Trend - Designs Aren't Just For Florals

Flowers aren't the only thing welcome in a bouquet or centerpiece any more! Many brides and grooms are opting to include other elements that make them unique: twigs, thistle, moss, branches, leaves, feathers, jewels, monkey tails, berries, etc. There are so many options. Don't limit yourself to seasonal blooms. Ask your florist what other elements they can include to make your floral designs one of a kind.

Tip - Advise Guests On Hotels

If you're planning a destination wedding, be certain to include nearby hotels so guests can plan in advance. Ask your venue if they can help you organize large party transportation for guests staying at hotels near each other.
